Burning monk

A Saigon, dans le district 3 au coin des rues Nguyen Dinh Chieu et Cach Mang Thang on peut trouver cette statue en mémoire de  Thích Quảng Đức. Ce moine qui s'est immolé par le feu le 11 juin 1963 pour protester contre la répression anti-bouddhiste ordonnée par le président catholique du sud Vietnam Diệm.

In Saigon, at the corner of the streets Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Cach Mang Thang in district 3, you can find this tribute in memory of Thích Quảng Đức. This monk who burned himself to death. He was protesting against the persecution of Buddhists by South Vietnam's Diem Catholic president.
